Replaced the water line and the ice is still horrible. Now I find out there is no filter to the water line on this fridge. NO FILTER. The ice is horrible. I cannot use the ice because of the taste. It cannot be good to ingest if it taste so bad.

Called independent service and said it would be almost $400 to replace which was more likely that a $200 min repair charge Ugh

Bought three years ago. Freezer seal leaks and the whole bottom freezer drawer snapped and replacement parts are discontinued. Was a big investment to have be so so bad soon after purchase. AVOID!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Subzero and kept blaming the stores for my food expiring too soon. With the LG, my milk is still fresh 2 1/2 months AFTER the expiration date! I like everything about my LG EXCEPT, there does not appear to be a sensor in the ice bin. so if there is too much ice, the freezer jams shut and ice cubes spill all over the place. I turned it off manually when the tray filled up, and haven't had to make another service call.

I've had THREE service providers contact me ON the day of my appointments, that they DO NOT support my fridge in my state! Something that would've REALLY helped for LG to know, before scheduling and rescheduling THREE different service providers. I finally contacted a repair service in my area and now they, the service/repair provider, is notifying me that without an LG approved account #, I will have to pay them for the service and repair, NOT LG! I'm sincerely disappointed by the LG brand, service and quality of customer service...

My wife and I purchased this refrigerator March 23, 2018. This refrigerator is not yet 1 year old and has had 4 visits from a local repair company to fix a seal in the freezer which my wife and I are not convinced that it is fixed yet. In addition the ice maker for this refrigerator has stopped working and this refrigerator is not 1 year old. WE WOULD NOT BUY THIS REFRIGERATOR AGAIN, IT HAS BEEN A VERY BIG DISAPPOINTMENT.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Good: The refrigerator compartment. It's well lit and very roomy. Lots of drawers for holding snacks, fruits & veggies. The Bad: The freezer compartment. The pull out drawer is cheaply made and difficult to pull out. I once removed the ice tray and it was difficult to put back in its proper position. This led to door being ajar and considerable frost forming. The open door alarm did not catch this condition. Also, I was disappointed to learn that the digital readout shows only the set temperature, not the actual temperature of each compartment. The Ugly: The stainless steel finish too easily shows smudges and fingerprints.

MY NEW COUNTER DEPTH FRIDGE IS GREAT!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this fridge about a month ago and it is already working out well. We finally have a working ice maker again and the counter depth is perfect so I can actually see what I have in the fridge and nothing gets lost. I can also keep long pans in the fridge which I could not do with my other fridge. It seems to have more room than my other fridge or maybe it is just more usable room. The shelf that slides back to accommodate wine bottles is terrific. I like the meat drawer and the middle veggie drawer is nice for smaller items like peppers, avocados etc. The only downside is that due to the counter depth, the veggie drawers are too short for celery, but that's OK as they fit on the upper shelf without any problems or I can precut celery to shorten it. The freezer took some getting used to as it is a bit smaller than my side by side, but roomier than I expected. So far I am very happy!

I agree with an earlier review, the ice smells and tastes terrible. I am going to stop using the automatic ice maker. I also think the overall refrigerator/freezer has an odor, even though I clean it and put baking soda boxes in both areas. Anyone else having this issue or know of a solution?

This is a good refrigerator, so far, that cools reliably and is fairly convenient in terms of storage space. There are a few awkward features: the refrigerator drawers need to be a bit taller, the full-width crisper drawer can't be opened without opening both exterior doors, the drawers can't be pulled all the way out to access items at the back, the is a lip on the storage bins in the door that makes it difficult to use the full depth of the bins. I have occasionally had a problem with small quantities of milk or juice freezing if they are placed too close to the cold-air inlet in the refrigerator.

We love the size and configuration of the shelves inside, plus with the ice-maker being in the bottom, it allows for more space in the top. The only drawback is there is no water in the door, but with small children around that can become a problem to keep clean. This LG Refrigerator is perfect for our family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first French Door refrigerator - it looks great in kitchen. Love the fact that there is a beep if you leave door open! Wish a wine bottle fit on door. Like the fact that you can pull out or push in certain shelves to accommodate items. Wish the door didn’t show fingerprints. The fruit/vegetable drawers are not deep - celery stalks won’t fit in them. Like that there are three drawers for produce. Large meat drawer is great but requires opening both doors. Read that many of these units have compressors that are failing after 3-4 years. Although they are covered by warranty, the labor can run $300-$400. Hoping ours lasts a lot longer.

There is a more solid feel to the doors; the interior light takes up less room; and there is more space in the door shelves. There is one glitch: The notch at the rear of the ice tray seems to have no purpose or function, and it allows an ice cube to fall through it to the bottom of the unit or the floor..

Excellent product.quiet although you can hear the ice maker when it cycles out the ice not an issue to me. My issues: Ice maker will continue to produce ice unless you turn it off. i.e. could lead to ice spilling out of the tray. Minor concern about the door closing. questioning if it will last.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this about a month ago. It was one of the very few counter depth options that was available at a reasonable price. So far we really like it. The fridge part is spacious, but the freezer part is pretty small. Freezing meal prep items or larger volume of sale items is not an option anymore. But it works for our small family.
